Where were you born?
Enfield.

Your favourite hobby as a kid
I used to love playing drums in my tree house on my mums pots and pans. Once I got a real drum kit I used to spend hours and hours and hours playing on it, driving my parents mad until they ended up getting me an electric kit with headphones!

How you got into being a DJ
I’ve always been into music and started DJing seriously at 14 when I joined a youth sound system. Then ended up DJing at the school prom for my first DJ set.
I went on to study Music Tech and started sound engineering the at a local recording studio and managed to blag my way onto the night shift at a local radio station. From that got booked abroad to perform at an event, by chance, hooked up with Quike Navarro and we’ve been performing together ever since.

Your biggest influence(s)
Within the music business, it has to be Toploader’s Rob Green who taught me how to turn a way of life into a viable way of earning money with little compromise.
In the DJ industry any DJ who really knows what they’re doing, rocks the crowd and varies the music. (I like to steal a little bit from everyone!).
In life, my parents and my partner. They have always been there for me and feel blessed to have the people I do around me.

Biggest achievements
Other than achieving my dream of being able to live from solely DJing I’d say a real key achievement for me has been traveling the world to perform with Who killed the DJ. We’ve taken it from a small idea for a band to become an internationally known group of performers.

Key tune that you love or inspired you
Oh wow thats a hard one as there’s so many! But the most meaning-full would have to be Baz Luhrmann – Sunscreen

Favourite lyric
My two favourite lyrics are “One day you’ll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember”. Avicii and “Stop looking at what you ain’t got, start thankful for what you do got” T.I

Your dream gig
Tomorrowland

Interests / hobbies outside music
Snowboarding, Gokarting, Family.

Three rules you live your life by
1. Live each day like it’s your last.
2. Treat others as you’d like to be treated.
3. Smile.

If you ran the country what would you change/initiate?
I’d reform the waste industry. Right now, there’s too much plastic in the world.

Favourite saying
Turn your passion into a career and never work a day in your life

If you weren’t a DJ what would you be?
A part time superhero
